Social Glue Collage Festival Schiedam, September 4 – October 5 2025 Visual artists and curators Nancy Hoogstad and Juliette Pestel are organizing Social Glue Collage Festival in the context of the 750th anniversary of the city of Schiedam in the Netherlands. We are working together with artists of KunstWerkt and of international collective The Collage Club. During the festival we show collage and collage based works from participating artists, in the main exhibition at KunstWerkt gallery and in two satellite exhibitions at I-Punt S’DAM (the tourist office) and Jenevermuseum. Community Collage Workshop op Schiefest 1 juni in Schiedam! Collega Nancy Hoogstad en ik zijn al een jaar bezig met het organiseren van Social Glue Collage Festival dat op 4 september start. Dit festival valt binnen de grote viering van de 750e verjaardag van de stad Schiedam. Zondag 1 juni staan we op IDDF Schiefest op het Nolet terrein in Schiedam voor een community collage workshop! Website finally finished! So happy my website is finally and totally DONE! When I announced a year ago that I had a new website, even though it wasn’t finished, I thought it would take me only a few months. Well….that turned into a full year! However, better slowly but surely than not at all. Ongekende atelier sale op 23 maart!
Ik ga vertrekken uit het atelier aan het Westeinde. Na 6 jaar ga ik helemaal los. Los van een vaste plek buitenhuis, los van lesgeven op de agenda en als het aan mij ligt, compleet los van alles wat op 23 maart nog in het atelier staat, hangt of ligt (en dat niet van mijn zus is, die blijft in het atelier). Dat betekent dat er, naast collages voor belachelijk lage prijzen, ook allerlei soorten materiaal te halen is. Er is zelfs een hele kast met gratis spullen!
